Gastroenterology Solutions is a “new” gastroenterology practice dedicated to the treatment of Digestive Diseases and Liver Disease. The practice is “new” in name only. Dr. James Cremins has been practicing in this community for nearly 20 years, and prior to his move to Hagerstown, he served his country in the United States Army for 9 years as a military physician. He is a veteran of OPERATION DESERT STORM, and received a Meritorious Service Medal for his service in the Persian Gulf. Dr. Cremins will be providing the same services he has here for the past 20 years, just in a different location.
We are all committed to providing a comprehensive approach to the community for all digestive disorders, and we look forward to our opening in March of 2016!
Dr. Cremins received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where graduated with honors with a BA in Biology in 1981. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York in 1987. Dr. Cremins then began his military service, completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado, and his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. In the midst of his training he was deployed to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq in the service of his country during the first Gulf War. Dr. Cremins is a member of several professional medical societies (American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) and has published papers in peer reviewed journals. He has been in Hagerstown since 1996, and he is looking forward to continuing providing Gastroenterology specialty care to patients in the Tri-State Area.
